No Start! Now Updated w/Culprit!

Haven't posted in a while Car's been great for almost 100K, but now, out of nowhere, it turns over but nothing else. It was running fire the night before.

'07 LT 2.2 manual, no mods

I got a code reader, no codes.
50 lbs. at the fuel rail
All fuses good
I pulled a plug, it's getting fire.
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced the gas cap (what the hck)
Replaced crank sensor

I put a shot of gas in one cylinder and it tries to start, so I'm thinking the injectors aren't firing.

I've ordered a cam sensor. If that's not it, I'm out of ideas and it's to the dealer she goes.

Anyone with any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!

steve

Pull the injectors out and crank it to see if they are firing. Just put a rag or something over them so you don't make a mess. If not pull them out of the rail and see if they are clogged with something.

Also 50 psi may be just low enough to not let the injectors fire. Just finished working on my girlfriend's s10 having fuel pump issues and it is supposed to have 60 psi in the feed line. Anything lower than around 55 and the injectors wouldn't fire. If that's the case, the fuel pump could be getting weak

Just got the call from the dealer. 12V main feed to injectors was rubbing on AC hardline, grounding out.

Out the door for $194.00 plus tax.

Sounds expensive for just diagnostic and labor, but you don't know how relieved I am!

Whew

pull a spark plug and ground it to see if its getting spark. A no start could be big or small. check the three components. spark, fuel and air. which ever one its not getting follow. could be crank sensor, but idk. you'll have to investigate some more.

I'm glad to hear that you've been able to get the issue diagnosed and repaired!

Everything is running okay?
