Noises That Are Annoying Me

Car info in sig.

First sound is when I have the heat on and from the glove box area this fluttering/ticking noise starts. Goes away when I turn off the heat, so I know it has something to do with that.
I'm not sure if it was that way before I changed the cabin filter, but probably. No noise from the engine bay, as far as I can tell. Just inside the cabin. Any diagnosis or fix?

Second noise is probably also a "ticking" when under a "spirited" acceleration. I'm kinda bad at describing these noises, but that's the best I can put it. I don't think it really does it when I'm being gentle, but it also is coming from the same area as the first noise. I just replaced the belt tensioner and belt. Did it before hand though, for sure.

I know like all the belts and **** are on the passenger side of car, which is all the noise is coming from there. I usually have my music up, so I don't always hear these noises, but there are those night time drives where I just wanna hear my car purr, but instead I'm hearing it tick/flutter/screech etc from inside.

Maybe when you changed the cabin filter a leaf fell down inside or theres a label on the filter flapping..
But I know alot of guys had issues with the fan making noise on low speed.

Fan for the a/c / heater. Very freaking common. Both my cobalts did that. As for the other. Exhaust leak maybe.

It's not so much a flapping. It definitely sounds like something mechanical. Like a bearing or something?

Did you end up fixing it?
As for the second noise, I don't think that's it. I feel it has something to do when the serpentine belt gets spun really fast.

Lol, right. My car is so noisy. Inside and out.
It's kinda like hell going through a drive through, because the exhaust sound is just bounding off the wall.

Indeed it was a cheap car. Retail and when I bought it.
I'm the second owner. Bought it for $3850.
Put maybe just under a grand in parts. A hefty chunk was the clutch.

Nope, I ran the VIN and it was clean. No accidents or anything.
140k, but it's been very maintained. Just needs a lot of TLC.
Original owner just wanted something bigger. At least that's what he told me.

Thanks, I'd like to think so.

I've been learning a lot from this car.
Once I figure out what's throwing these codes I have, I can finally relax.

So, I've done some research and the first noise I think is the heat blower going bad?
Not sure, seems like it though.

Second noise, I'm not sure.
Maybe an exhaust tick or lifters?

I don't know what an exhaust tick sounds like, or even if its supposed to happen while driving, but like I said the second noise is only a faint tick that gets faster the higher the RPMs.

With this information, any other suggestions?

Almost every cobalt factory blower motor has that ticking sound at low speeds. No way to make it stop unless you replace the motor which is stupid. As far as the ticking while getting on it, that can be like 50 different things. Just drive the damn car and stop observing every little noise.

I have tons of noises that annoy the **** out of me with this car.

most notably is the passenger side speaker is static, almost. I think I have the problem figured out, a bad ground from my aftermarket head unit.

and a MAJOR squeak behind me when I hit a bump or when I have the bass too high. its driving me ******* nuts. im gonna fix it this weekend i think
