Not cranking

My car (2007 SS LSJ) will not start. I put the key in, power comes on and everything works, then when I turn it all the way to start lights and radio go off like they always have, but the starter doesn't crank. Any idea what the problem could be? I've checked all the fuses I can think of.

Did you check the starter relay? and i'd be willing to put my money on the switch that detects when your clutch is pushed in... That would cause your problem.

Heres some info
that fuse feeds
I/p cluster
passanger airbag indicator
heated seat switchs
clutch pedal and brake switch

The easiest place to start is the clutch and brake switches
disconect both switches at the pedals (pull connectors apart) and while down there with a flash light check the wires(the pink wire is the power check it the best) for a short to ground!
look carefully anywhere they come close to or attached to those sharp brackets.
if you dont find anything keep the switches disconnected and replace the fuse.
does the fuse blow with the switches disconnected ?
If no then plug in the clutch switch-did the fuse blow ?
if not plug in the brake swicth-Did the fuse blow?

If when plugging in one of the above connector the fuse blows seperat the wires from the bundle and take a really hard look at the wires again for that connector.

Let me know what you find and we will go further.
Good luck!!

still haven't got this fixed. going home to try to figure it out this weekend. blows the fuse all the time now and it's impossible to start the car. Anybody have any more places to look? pretty sure it's not the clutch switch or the brake.

The motor in the car was replaced 500 miles ago, I feel like the people may have snagged some wires putting it back together or something.

Did you check the wires going to the brake and clutch switch?
