oil change...

I just rescently did my first oil change on my ss/tc at 3268 miles and I could not find exactly how many quarts of 5w-30 oil the car used in my owners manual. I was guessing 5 quarts but my friend said i would need 6?

fill it til it's full. it'll take somewhere between just under 5 to just under 6 quarts to get to the Full line on the dipstick.

It's 5 on the TC
It's 6 on the SC

5 on all the 2.4L and 2.2L cars.

That's pretty much it - dump in 5 litres / quarts, fire it up and check for leaks, shut it down and pull the dipstick, add oil as needed to get to the full mark. Done.

Could always just measure how much you took out... I usually do this for each oil change to check if the vehicle is burning/leaking oil (when i know how much it should take)
