lol trouble from whom? my dealer uses the valvoline synthetic. and if i remember right they used to use something from shell. im sure they just buy it in bulk from a distributor who has the lowest price.

Break through on my carmax warranty. I CAN DO MY OIL CHANGES...LOL. Problem solved. I got my oil change and tire rotation there, but it just becoming inconvenient to make an appointment just to get that done. Probably just mobil 1 full synthetic. The carmax carquest synthetic has been wonderful, but I will find it easier and quicker to just do it at my apartment complex.

Also, the warranty company faxed me a copy of my contract and I can do many more modification to my car. Just as long as i properly maintenance the car then I will still be covered. Anyhow, the warranty covers me until 71,091 miles or until May 14th, 2012 whichever comes first. The way I drive the expiration date will come before I get the mileage. Besides, any parts that fail will probably be replaced before then. I mean when you think about it what could go wrong other than some freak drivetrain failure?

They can get in trouble with GM, according to the dealer by my house (and a customer of mine). They use Valvoline on almost every car. The exception is the Cobalt SS's, non-LE5, and Corvettes.
