P0103 cel
I am having issues with a check engine light code P0103. I know it has something to do with the maf, where should I start first? I checked the wiring and it looked ok.
Obviously start where you did checking the connections/connectors, my next step would be buying some CRC or similar MAF sensor cleaner to clean any possible dirt/dust or air filter oil off of the MAF.
Make sure to use only MAF sensor spray and not silicone spray or anything like that.
Make sure to spray it out good and spray the connector as well, just soak everything, let dry, then reassemble.
If it is the MAF sensor and checking all connections and cleaning it does not work then it will probabaly need to be replaced.

Well last night everything worked fine so I am guessing maybe it got wet... Only problem is I have my MAF relocated to coldside pipe for a BOV so I can't for the life of me figure how this thing would have got wet or why it just all the sudden worked again...

Happened again, it was raining HARD so this thing has to be getting wet somehow. Anyone have any ideas how water could be hitting the MAF if it's relocated using the ZZP coldside pipe?

OK so I checked the wiring, everything looked good. Even removed the maf extension and just used the factory wiring to make sure that the wiring was completely ruled out.
Then I pulled the maf out and it was wet, sprayed it off with some MAF cleaner and put it back in. Still having the issue. Next day I go and buy a new MAF thinking maybe mine is bad. Pull it out again and it is SOAKED with water.
I am at a loss here... This is on a MAF relocate so I can't for the life of me figure out how water is getting in there. No rain for the last few days so I am assuming its either condensation or stored up water from previously getting sucked in through the filter (I have since put an AEM pre filter on to avoid any water vapor from entering filter).
Any one have any tips? I am assuming there is a little water in there that needs to be heated up to get rid of it, but is it possible that this much condensation is forming in the intercooler/charge pipes?
