I clear the light but it comes back on after awhile, the car stutters like absolutely crazy when im accelerating in 2nd gear until I get to about 3K rpm... anyone got any idea how I can get rid of this problem? Wouldn't swapping the coils be really bad? They'll be firing out of order then... not good... you'll definately get a code then anyways.

Yeah I'm having the same issue. Mines idles normally but when you go to give it gas, it sputters really bad and the CEL flashes. Spark plugs are fine, boots and coils are good. Running out of ideas tho

sounds like spark blow out, did you change anything on your car in the last few months? Smaller pulley on supercharger perhaps?

I have an SS/TC and I upgraded the intercooler piping and a 50/50 diverter valve. I took the diverter valve off yesterday and put the stock ont back on and it helped a lil, but now I can drive it just can't go sudden WOT or over 80 without backfires. And the backfires are smokeless.

Tried moving the coils around and still the same. It's not throwing a code anymore but it's definitely a lean backfire. I think I'm going to change the plugs again and all coils.

Don't change the coils. Check for rust under the coil when the boot and resistor sits. Assuming they are lnf coils. Go one step colder on plugs.

Okay, will try that. I took of the 50/50 diverter valve and put the stock one back on. It runs a lil better, only sputters and backfires at sudden throttle, WOT, or over 80mph.

Here is your problem. Get ACDelco stock plugs, the LNF is picky.

Not sure what you mean by a 50/50 diverter valve

Swap your coils. See if it moves.

Try stock plugs, or at least reduce the gap on those plugs. Lots of people have issues running other than stock.

But, these are the ones you should use? ACDELCO 41-108? and how much gap?
before changing to ngk I had this same fault because the spark plugs I had no longer served, change to ngk and it worked but 2 days ago the cylinder # 2 started to give problems (it is worth mentioning that the spark plugs changed them a little over a week ago)
