So I had noticed my car wasn't running right a long time ago. The car now has 120k+ miles on it. . . this started since about 80k but had never gotten a code until now!! Ridiculous right!!!?? The car stutters during acceleration, heavier at take off, when trying to maintain a steady pace, it jerks quite hard due to the misfire. Well, I replaced the coil as the code says its a circuit, so I thought the coil went bad. Still have the same problem. I've gotten a multi-meter and tested for continuity and looks good from the coil connector all the way down to the PCM connector. May the PCM have a bad coil driver? Has anyone else experienced this?

Would a bad connection make a module go bad? I tested the coils and they all give the same readings. I think it may be the harness. Has anyone ever had trouble with a coil harness?

 

I'm assuming you've changed the plugs as well?

 

Yes I have. I put some autolite coppers just to test if it was the plugs.
