Check for the following
• Disconnected, damaged, or incorrectly routed vacuum hoses
• A supercharger or engine vacuum leak
• A misaligned, loose, or damaged air intake duct
• Any objects blocking the air inlet probe of the mass air flow (MAF)/Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor
• Any contamination or debris on the sensing elements in the probe of the MAF/IAT sensor
• Any damage or fractures to the SCIP sensor housing
• A missing or damaged SCIP sensor seal
• Restrictions or debris in the SCIP sensor vacuum port

I checked my hoses and checked for leaks and have non, the mad sensor never came off when I did the install but the supercharger sensor did, everything is alignamd right and the car pulls like a beast but the light is there, the tb is clean as I cleaned it. When I did the install, only thing I can think of is the supercharger sensor is dirty, if I clean the sc sensor and the maf would that solve my problem

it will fix the problem for a short while. some cars have a problem with this sensor. mine being one of them. i've never seen this problem on a cobalt tho...mainly redlines. imo shut the sensor down via hpt.
