P2135 Engine Power Reduced!HELP!
Ok so I've been throwing p2135 randomly. Most the time it's when I first start the car (and I won't say it's cold engine because it's 85 degrees in the mornings and 95 in the afternoons here in Louisiana). Two days ago I sat in my driveway for about 10 mins as it would throw the code, I'd clear it with my interceptor, and it would instantly throw the code again. 10 mins in I was able to drive away and it only intermittently happened for the next 15 mins while driving. Under acceleration, it wouldn't happen but when coasting or changing gears it would throw Engine Power Reduced! It also happens at 5 O'Clock in the afternoon when I'm trying to leave work, so I think it's directly related to the temperature of the engine. So I've read as much as I can, and everyone else's issue with that code is accompanied by other codes. Mine isn't and it's happening more and more frequently now. I've unplugged and replugged the TPS on the throttle body, and I've read about maybe a sensor on the pedal assembly being bad? Anyone have any information on where to find this sensor, or where to purchase a replacement from. My car is way out of warranty, and my local Chevy Dealership hates me. I appreciate any thoughts on the situation!
i had this problem, i had to replace the TB and get a new wire harness for it. costed about 170$ for the wire from GM and install.
If you follow the black tubing which holds all the wires down to the end while the car is on. Just jiggle the wire while your car is on and running. If it produces the same problems then thats the cause. otherwise it could just be a bad TB/tune
blue2.2 actually sent me a picture of where the wire is located and ****. so if you message him im sure he'll send them to you
