paint peeling
anyone have any problems with paint peeling off their car...Mines starting to right down to bare metal around the drivers wheel well. The pinch weld in it started to chip away now the outside of the wheelwell started to flake off. Anybody have this problem? Car is a 06 LT

mines new...but my paint was peeling at the bottom of the door where the door seal touches.....they fixed it and then put clear tint film on it so it doesnt do it again...thanks warranty
it shouldnt just flake off thats an issue. bring it to ur dealer and show them it has no adhesion. but **** will rust if u dont put touchup on it so take it to dealer ASAP, or touchup it now. touchup can be removed with thinner so its not a big deal

dealer wont do **** i tryed for my car doing the same thing and told me i was on my own and i quote its a 2006 and its 2010 what do u expect end quote is what they told me in oct

Mines been chipping in both the wheel well area and under my door just above the side skirt. Shitty GM paint
I bought a tube of touch up paint for just under $10

to bare metal but the colour coat is seperating from the primer. I talked to a buddy who used to be a service manager at one of the GM dealers that got closed down and he told me whether it will get waranteed depends on the dealer. He told me not to use the dealership in my town because they almost never cover it. I am going to try the one near my work instead.

The clear coat is peeling under my rear window, the paint under the spoiler is a damn mess and a section of my hood is starting to get tiny bubbles in it. None of it is really noticeable, but its only going to get worse and will eventually need to be taken care of.
