pedal position sensor/ reduced engine power

Alright so recently ive been having issues with my 05 SS. I keep getting a cel with a code for the pedal position sensor it cuts the power to the car but after its off and sits for a few minutes it goes away or engine power is restored. When i drive with the a/c on it tends to do it more frequently. Any ideas on what it could be or anyone had an issue like this? Dont really have money to take it to the dealer and the only mods right now are injen intake and magnaflow catback. Any help is appreciated . Thanks.

You might have broken the pedal housing...I mash my pedal real hard and the car would cut out on me when accelerating hard. Broken pedal housing was allowing throttle position sensor out of range (two in housing). Replaced pedal and good! Is the serious pita to replace, hardly any room. Had me wondering what bad I did in life to get to that contorted, uncomfortable position only able to get one click on the rachet at a time on super long bolts!

It could also be a bad TB. I had this same issue, and bought the pedal assembly and a new TB to be safe. Swapped out the TB and everything worked fine.
