about 6 months ago my passanger side window stopped working. It was fixed under warranty of course, no biggie... Today I go outside and my driverside door window doesnt work.......... wtf....... Has anyone else had this problem or did I just get the ultimate "small stuff lemon". I have had no major problems with the car, but every little thing that could have gone wrong and just about every non-mechanical recall and tsb have applied to my car. Cobalts suck..... I'm about ready for a jap car.

 

Not that I read every thread in the forums, but you are the first I've seen with power window problems - which I find to be very surprising. My last 2 cars were GM ('91 Formula and '98 GTP), and both had power window motors failing regularly. I replaced the rear passenger window motor 3 times and the front passenger motor twice in the GTP (the other 2 on the driver side of my GTP only had to be replaced once ). Maybe it's just a Pontiac issue, but I've still been expecting to have problems with my SS/SC sometime in the near future just the same.

 

There were a couple times with my GMC sonoma that the windows randomly stopped working after it was rolled all the way down. it was really annoying because the only time it happened was when it was raining out.
