problem.. odd ticking noise

just started today, started when i was not even gettin on the car..

noticed a strange noise, sounds like one of three things:

1. bad tensioner
2. bad sc bearing
3. bad lifter

without my engine doctor kit today, and trying to pinpoint the problem fast.

so my questions are:
Has anyone had anything similiar happen to them?
Im on a 2.9 intense, so has anyone taken there car back to the dealer and had work done with those mods and had it covered under warranty?
Any service bullitens on the car for recalls?
If i had it to take it back, could i just get a gm stg II pulley and hub and put it on the car, and be ok with the tune i have?

bump

Hearing rattling from the supercharger is normal. Check the supercharger oil just incase.

sounds like you got a exhaust leak... if it goes away after a while its most likely what it is.. try tightening your header bolts

i know about that... been like that every summer since i got the car... lol completely different from that.

i decided to try to fix it today... got mad hit the tensioner with a hammer, gave it boost and no more problems!

anyone know if there is a service bulliten on tensioners? even before i hit it it seemed real loose.. 29xxx on the car.

Tensioners are prone to go bad.. The one I had in my other engine is a POS and it was only removed once with 30k on the car.. Get a new one from CED. They're improved from Stock.
