Radio display problem.
I was wondering if anyone has this problem and how to fix it without going to the dealer...
Once in a while the display on my radio in my 06 SS/NA goes out. The radio still works and plays but the display just blacks out. Also, sometimes it displays everything at once, the whole display lights up, every character at once. Its real f'ing anoying.

I had this problem, the only way to fix it is to go to the dealer and have them order you a new radio. Maybe if you're really good with electronics you could take it apart and fix it, but if you're still in warranty man just bring it in for service.

I've had the same problem on mine a couple of times - I figure it to be possibly electrical or some component inside the radio jarred loose - when it goes completely I'm gonna buy a replacement off e-bay - I hate my dealer - never am going back to one - totally f-ed me on my last visit- can't wait for GM to go into bankruptcy -
