started the car up 4 times in a row (cam position sensor not in place) drove it for 40min to get home.

pulled into the driveway car stalled, no so uncommon, would not start again, clicked once doesnt turn over at all


amyways havnt had a chance to jump it, but why would the car just not work like that, i didnt have an uncommon check engine light, and the alt is new maybe 20k miles on it

ok i read it. and i def think i put it in the right section. its general. its not technical. its a battery or alt prob

 

sounds like you have symptoms of a random dead battery!!

 

Pull your alternator and battery and take them to Autozone to get tested.

 

Its a PROBLEM so I moved it to PROBLEMS AND SERVICE. Thanks

 

^^ it was a general thing thats why i put it there

and autozone checked my battery its good. i plugged in everything went under the hood. checked the fuze box.... puled everything that had anythign to do with ignition. a few were a bit loose.

cleaned everything up and she started up

so thanks for the help
