Random dead battery?

Sorry in advanced for such a long read. I just wanted to be thorough.

So I have an 09 SS/TC. I got it early August of 09 and it now has 4400 miles on it.

One day during work at about 5:30 I started my car and moved into another parking lot closer to my job. At 8:15 when I got out of work, I hit the unlock button, my headlights turned on and I walked to my car. I hop in and it wouldn't start at all. Not even a crank or anything. No lights came on or anything. I got a jump from a co worker and it took about a good 7 or 8 min before it would even start. Kind of weird. I figured it was something stupid maybe I might have left my lights on or something and not realized it.

Three or four days go by and my car was completely fine. I drove it for an hour or two then I went to get some gas. I shut my car off, run inside to buy a drink, come out and go to start my car again and the same **** happened! I had to call my brother to come and give me a jump. I was stuck at a busy gas station with a dead car. Pretty embarrassing.

Anyway, I was gonna see if maybe someone can help me out as to what it possibly could be. I was thinking maybe I'm just drawing too much power from the battery or maybe even it was the tuned ECU I have. I checked the battery and everything was connected securely.

My mods are as follows in case anyone needs to know. Retrofitted projector headlights, 12 JL Audio sub with a Rockford Punch amp, Hahn 3 in. catless downpipe, Hahn 3 in. catback exhaust, Dejon short ram intake, Dejon charge piping with HKS blow off valve. My ECU is tuned with HPTuners.

Anyone?

Ughhhhh. Hopefully that was the last time. If it happens again, I'm putting my stock ECU back in and taking it to the dealer.

Yeah it was like steady in the 30's or 20's recently but it happened on days where it was like in the 40's.

I got an email from my dealer about two weeks ago saying I had a free battery check. I'm gonna go in and get it check out when I have a free day from work. Do you guys think they'd check out my ECU for a tune or just go right for the battery and check that?

I would just replace the battery, sometimes when batteries draw 100% dead they dont come back at all and cant hold a charge.

It's weird though. It died on me again last night in my drive way. I got out, closed the door, opened my garage to get some cables and keys to my mom's car, then I hit the unlock button on my fob and my headlights came on again and it started fine. It did it again like half hour later in a parking lot. Got out, hit the unlock key, and it started right up. I don't get it.

Dude not even kidding I was thinking that we should go there and hang one day. Imagine the whole lot filled with Cobalts. I'm down to go but I'm stuck in work until 4.

Yeah, I was there the other night and it was almost empty. Really weird. I remember when it first opened you'd have to to like 6 U turns before you got a spot.

Bump. Has this happened to anyone else?
