random starting??

For the past year already my car has been turning on only when it wants too. Some days it turns on right away others it takes anywhere from 5-30mins. The dealer cant figure it out, the only thing it does is make a clicking sound then after awhile turns on. I tried searching for any posts relating to this but no luck. Any help please? thanks

Have you tried using a different key...it may be a security issue with the chip in the current key your using.

redboost,

It appears that you already have an appointment to see the dealer to discuss this issue. I would like to stay up-to-date on your concern. I would greatly appreciate it if you could get back to me through a private message once you have visited the dealership to let me know how everything went and if your concern has been addressed. Thank you again for any help you can provide.

Tricia, Chevrolet Customer Service.
