my buddys 240 is running a little rough so he bought a apexi safe2. we have got it running good but would like to take it to a shop and get it dyno tuned on 15psi.
this is a 20sr engine

 

bumb any one know of a shop that can tune this?

 

You may want to think about something like nistune or something else similar as apexi system is generally just a maf tuner. If you want a full tune and something bad@$$ then use nistune its not too expensive and any shop that tune cars should be able to tune the nistune.

Nope the nistune is going to be similar to hptuners for us. The Apexi system is great but that can be tuned by anyone that can push a button.

 

My buddy that has a shop tunes dsm's with dsm link would nistune be like that? this apexi is weired because last night the car ran great and we did nother different to it I think it was the cold air.

you say any one can tune with it its just a push of a button? we are having a hard time with it.

 

Id didnt have any issues with the apexi system on my 350z TT setup but I had a shop actually tune the computer and it was a night and day difference. To answer your question yes a boosted car will run better when it's cold. And nistune should be very similar to dsm link.
