Rear brake squeal
On my third set of rotors, these ones are ATEs. New pads, also ATE. Greased the pins with the proper brake lube, and a can of brake cleaner per side. Then it rained. Squeal is back. Rim is hot to touch, clearly the pad is sticking and making heat in addition to noise.
This just doesn't end, is it a design defect that cannot be solved or is there another trick?
The caliper itself, is it adjustable? I know it moves in and out through rotation as that was how the new pads were able to slip into the caliper housing.
I need ideas, because I'm out of patience.
