The security light will NOT shut off in my car. It was fine yesterday.. And all of a sudden I get this ^*#%! I've never been more frustrated with a car. This thing is a POS. It won't start, won't even try to start and the alarm goes off every time I try to start it.

I've replaced the battery, tried doing the relearning on my key, everything short of replacing the ignition switch.

Any ideas? Or am I just gonna have to change the ignition switch?

When trying to do the relearn, the light never shuts off after the 10 minute sit.

Not using a newly copy cutted key are you?it should have a plus sign near the plastic on shaft. If not sorry man but proba ly gonna have to see the dealer.

 

It's the key that I got from the dealer, with the + sign on it. I think I need a tech 2 to reset the security. Then I'm selling this thing.
