Reasons for 4psi

Hello community. Back after a couple years. Picked up a Stock 07 lsj with 60k. Only issue I have with it is that it will not boost over 4psi. Any common issues to replace? Boost acculator? The rod moves fine when I move by hand and vacuum lines seem to be good. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sounds to me like your bypass actuator solenoid is either faulty, unplugged or lost connection. It could also be your ECM telling the solenoid to pull boost but I would think it would throw a code? You can test if it is the solenoid by taking the hose that runs from the solenoid to your actuator, disconnecting it from the actuator while leaving it connected to the solenoid and plug it. If you can build boost after you have done that it is either your solenoid, solenoid wiring or the ECM telling it to pull power for some reason.
