Recent Cobalt issues..

I've got a '05 base coupe Cobalt with 121k on it, haven't really had any problems with it until now...

Sunday I was taking my gf to work in the snow, received the engine power reduced message and the car stalled out, after that it would idol rough and act like it's going to die and sometimes it would die.. So I took it to a shop and they replaced the throttle body on it (apparently it's a common problem?) ..

After picking the car up from the shop I am driving it for about a half hour, the power steering message flashed across my dash and the car started running really rough, I pulled over into a parking lot and shut it off, turned it back on and put it in gear and the car shifted into gear very rough (automatic) and was spitting and sputtering so I took it back to the shop, the tech drove it and found nothing wrong with it; I drove it home last night and it was fine..

I just went out to leave and my power steering feels like it's gone and there's a clicking noise coming from the shifter when I put the car into gear, it shifts into gear rough again and my check engine light is on..

UGH!

**edit**

Called the dealer and the tech said it sounds like it's a solenoid? My buddy said the solenoids control the electronics hence power steering being out.

Just want to give an update...

Had the throttle body replaced, car ran fine for awhile then the power steering thing flashed across the dash and the car started running bad, took it to a different shop and while enroute to the shop the car was shifting really hard, spedometer was messed up and my radio was out of whack which led me to believe it was something electrical...

After about a month later and $500 into the car it turns out it was a "transmission module control sensor"
