third i just replaced my vacum hoses to my ?blowoff valve/wastegate? car is fixed. is that weird?
they were litterally falling apart looked like rubber dust when i touched them.
It don't matter if your warranty is out or not. It's a recall! It don't matter if your car is 30 years old, if they have a recall...It's covered.

But glad it's fixed

I think it's a good idea to have your own code reader. I baught mine from Advanced Auto Parts. But if you go to Autozone, or Advanced, they will read your codes for free.

If you guys own a DROID, buy the Torque program and go on Amazon/Ebay and buy a bluetooth OBD2 reader. The Torque program is a code reader and real time information reader.

**And you guys don't have to buy it, if you want it. I can email you the Torque Pro APK

It's worth spending a bit more on a good connector too. My Deal Xtreme one drops sometimes.

so it ended up being a vaccum leak from your wastegate/blowoff? hmm..i recently had this issue and thought it was the sensor right next/under the throttlebottle after taking it off and putting it back on it seemed to fix the issue, but my hoses going to the blowoff/wastegate are getting flaky...time to change them!
Once again found a nice useful thread here!
