Reoccuring Electrical Problem
Hey guys, I have an 06 SS/SC and lately I have been having an electrical problem, sometimes, whenever I start or shut off the car. It will start whenever I cut the ignition, the motor acts like it stalls and my radio, really quickly, has a blip, and then continues to play. Also, here is the clock is reset to 12:00....Then, whenever I return to start the car and leave, my idle surges horrifically and dies if I don't give it gas. And whenever I do give it gas it kind of stumbles and then the rpms climb...One time, before the above happened, I started the car and the driver info center said power steering and I was forced to drive without power steering, but the funny thing was, I got to where I needed, and shut the car off and turned it back on and my power steering worked.....I don't know what happened? And after that, it seemed that I have the first two problems...does anyone out there have any ideas that could PLEASE help me out? I am a full time student in college and don't have much money to my name at the moment. Thanks to everyone who helps!!!

Did you check the battery terminals in the trunk to make sure they were tight.
Also take a look in the under hood fuse box and check that all the relays and fuses are seated properly.
While you are there the connectors on the fuse box can be checked.
Some place to start for you.
Good luck.

Might want to get the battery load tested as well, it might be done for. Seems the factory battery is pretty much a pos from what I've read on here.
