Just noticed after I got home that my ac line had a leak. This was from a braided ss line rubbing against it. The pic below is the one I need to replace. Is there anything I should know to make my life easier during the removal/install. After it is done, I will take it in the shop to charge/service the system. First time touching an AC system.
It's a fairly easy process, at least on my LSJ. I'd check on your car to see if there are many things looped over or around the line; scout it out and come up with a plan of attack. Might make it easier if you remove intercooler piping; I don't know though... haven't done an LNF.
With that said, you might be able to go to a shop beforehand and have them evac your system, that way you aren't having to deal with R-134a fumes and system remnants (it's kinda toxic stuff and will mess with your lungs)... but with there being a leak, that may not work.
Otherwise, you might want to wear a mask and/or run a fan nearby on high.

It seems like all the pressure has been leaked/released as expected. No more sounds coming from the line. Just waiting for my new line and o-rings from RA to arrive. Then find a weekend to do this. Thanks for the reply.
