Resonator Rattle

Is it ok if the resonator rattles a little bit? I just got a corsa touring and when I got it home I noticed when I moved it I heard I slight rattle, kinda like a couple pebbles in it. Any thoughts? Did I get screwed over?

I need an answer ASAP plz =/

Wow, so first off I'm an idiot, it's the muffler part that rattles. So I was talking to a guy from corsa and he said there's no packing that should be loose but if part of the cat where to break off and enter the channels in the muffler then it could cause a rattle. Anyone had this problem and know a good way to get em out?

That's what I meant if it was rattling there is something wrong. If ***** rattling in there you should be able to just turn the exhaust upside down and shake it out. But if your cat is breaking apart you need to get a new cat.

That's what I'm assuming, can't think of what else it might be. I gotta try shaking it out but I have a feeling it's gunna be a lot harder than that sounds...

Are you sure it's not rubbing something somewhere? A rub will rattle, and can usually be fixed by bending the pipes a little. It's a big PITA to pull stuff apart like that...

Na, exhaust isn't even on the car yet.

I'm having no luck shaking it out...anyone have a cut away pic or diagram with what the muffler section looks like with the channels?

I'm thinking if a piece of the cat broke and landed in one of the holes in the muffler section then it's just a matter of shaking it out...even though I've done it for 20 minutes today and no luck lol. Guess I gotta stay optimistic lol.
