I just got fuel canister put in and now it's reving high. Do anybody have any ideas what it could be or what I cud do to fix the situations?

 

Might wanna explain the further. What fuel canister? Like the EVAP canister? Maybe you left a vac line off.

 

Maybe they hooked the hoses up backwards and the gas fumes are going straight into the intake .
Just taking a guess on it being the evap.

 

Yea it was a evap canister. I'll check the hoses.

Where is the evap canister at so that I can check it out?

 

I think its at the back of the car by the gas tank.

Also are you hearing the knocking noise from the back of the car.If not maybe your purge valve(vent selinoid)is not working which would cause this problem.
What you could try is drive around with the gas cap loose to see if any of the evap stuff is causing the problem.
This will not allow any pressure build up in the tank also will cause a code but you will know its for the loose gas cap and it will go away.
If the gar revs up still than I dont know what else it could be.

Do you have any codes already.
The evap stuff is monitored really well.
