Alrighty, today I started the car up after a week because of a nice vacation. I gotta out of the car to close the garage door and on the way back to the car I heard a new noise from under the hood, popped it and noticed it sounded like it was comin from the supercharger. It sounds like a mild clunking noise from the blades maybe...just wanted to see if this has happend to anyone else. Didnt expect this to happen with only 1700 miles yet

 

same sound as mine with only 300 miles on it
i got it replaced under warrenty and all is good

Sounds like you need to see a dealer.

 

Make sure if/when they replace your S/C, to Fill it with Oil, a couple people have gotten theirs replaced and the dealer forgot the oil

 

I made an appointment earlier today for 7am thurs. I thought I read a thread a few weeks ago on the same thing. The dealer told this guy that its a good thing he brung the car in early or their would be engine damage from metal getting into the engine, dont know if its too safe to travel with it til thurs??

 

yeah they just replaced the SC
