Usually on forums like this there is a service manual that someone has for download?
I am wanting one for an 08 SS/TC.
I searched like CRAZY for "service manual" and "repair manual" and had no luck.

I'm having issues with the ESC/traction control turning off and giving me a service message. It might happen 10 minutes into the drive, or 2 minutes into the drive. Sometimes goes away, and usually goes away after a restart.

It's driving me fricken crazy and the dealer says they can't do anything if they can't duplicate it.

 

Go to Crate Engine depot dot com and buy the full set of factory service manuals. I bought the complete set for my Cobalt SS/SC and they are nice to have. ...very complete manuals. Crate Engine Depot gives very good discounts on all of the GM parts (including the manuals).

 

The traction control works with the wheel speed sensors ,so my guess would be that you have a wheel bearing going.
Notice any extra noise from the wheel bearings.

 

No... I've had that happen on other cars. I don't hear anything like that. It's been doing this since maybe 150 miles until now. (Just over 6K)

 

So has someone found a service manual for the SS/TC?????

 

Helm Inc provides the dealership service manuals for GM vehicles. I believe AllData would also have much of the information also.

 

So I just look this stuff up and can I buy this online?
