its the first day with snow around here last night and i decided to pull the hand brake up 1 click to disable the traction control...after i got to the bigger streets i released it and i hear the dash warning me and it says Service traction. The TC and the ABS lights left on. I then noticed i lost both functions.

i pulled over and restarted the car and it's fine afterward... i'm just wondering if anyone had similar thing happened?

driving with no ABS in snow is pretty scary...the slightest braking takes the tail out

 

I'm confused?

Why would you turn off traction control?

 

because there are too many times that the TC wont let any power to the wheel to get me going from a stop...
