Made I to NY from Texas with a few problems, one of them is my turbo or I think is my turbo. In El paso in like 3k above sea level and I been boosting aroun 24-27lbs fine been like that for a few months now, On my way! To NY and even now when I'm here when I get above 17lbs lots of smoke comin from exhaust pipe think its white in color, when I let off the gas and press it again no boost response. Car seems to be in limp mode.. Any thoughts? Also oil coming out my bov.

 

Seems like you just blew your turbo

 

Sounds like turbo seals, but I'm no expert.

 

What color is ur balt?. I'm from ep

 

It can be a lot of things, turbo seals , ring land, PVC system clogged, etc

 

PVC? Where is that located? I'm the only yellow 4dr in el paso.... 9times out of 10 u seen my car before, I was thinking the seals but wouldn't it smoke all te time? Sometimes it builds boost and others there no response when I get real high in psi it smokes..

 

Do a comp test, check the valve the is hooking to the intake and on intake mani

car is such a headache plumes of white smoke when i let off the gas minimal white smoke at idle oil is fine no oil in the coolant, i was told it is worn piston rings, no puddles of fluid on the ground or anything. had to add water to the coolant bout twice. car is goin in storage for my deployment anyway. just a update smdh.

 

LNf ecotec rings are **** with a aggressive driver. They won't last long. Even if the tune is conserve as hell.. Frictional components break down quickly

 

A retune will probably fix the issue.

 

Oil is fine? No gas smell or anything? My money is on a blown turbo. Takes a few hours to swap over.

 

If its the turbo might as well upgrade
