So I snapped a half shaft
same thing happened top me a couple weeks ago. Dealer said it was abuse and the larger tires that caused it to snap. BS if u ask me bur i didnt want to argue with him so i did it myself in my garage. Turns out its really not that complicated to do. you just have to pull of the caliper and rotors and then you can remove the old halfshaft and put in a new one.
edit: the dealer also said that my tourque damper caused it to break.

I know its no problem to pull the halfshafts, its just that I'd order some from DSS, which I really don't feel like spending right now. I figured if they would do it for free, why should I bother? I dropped it off tonight, and they are going to call tomorrow with the verdict of whether they will replace it or not.
