Some Problems...
So I have an 07 cobalt SS/SC and it has heated front seats on driver and passenger side. Well the passenger side still works according to friends sitting in the passenger seat, but my driver seat doesn't work anymore. It worked fine for about a month and then it just decided to stop working. When I flip on the switch the light turns on meaning it's activated, but no heat. Also tonight my sunroof started acting up. I used to be able to only push the button half-way so the sun roof would open but not start going back. Well now that doesn;t work, I have to push the button fully in order for the sun roof to open and it even opens slower. Maybe a problem with the motor? Or electrical system? Thoughts and suggestions would be a great help!
i'm having problems with my sun roof two, but its just the button trim that keeps falling off and the button is not secured to the posts anymore. I took it to the dealer to get it fixed once before and surprize it fell off again. i just want to replace that cheezy button with one that feels better and has one touch.
anybody have any suggestions?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue with the sunroof button. I have an 07 SS/SC and just passed the warranty deadline. The sunroof button bracket has fallen down a bunch of times and the mount (where the button sits) has become loose or something.
Is this something that can easily be fixed, like I could do myself or do I HAVE to take it into the dealer to get charged up the a$$????
Please advise.
Thanks in advance!

Ok so I've check other threads and everyone keeps saying that there is a great "how to" write up on the solution to this (the sunroof button issue) but I can't find it.
Can someone please direct me to the link/thread????

find your heated seat connector under the seat. should be a smaller plug with two wires that runs under the fabric near the center console. unplug it, throw a test light between the two terminals in the "body side" of the connector. turn on your heated seat. your looking for your test light to light up, showing you have good power and ground to the heating element. if you do, buy a new element, rip your seat out, take it apart and change it. it will probably be melted and burnt on the wires just before the element panel. if you don't have power or ground (test light does not illuminate) you have other problems like a fuse or wiring, switch, etc. I believe both seats run off the same fuse, so that is unlikely if one works though.
