SS/SC pcv clogged up?

A while back my 2006 SS/SC blew the front crankshaft main seal. This was in February when the weather was like -40C a lot and all kinds of random crap would go wrong with the car. I fixed the seal with some help (I am a 1st period mechanic apprentice but in all honesty some of you enthusiasts will have more experience taking engines apart than I do) and my boss tipped me off saying my PCV valve is probably clogged up. I don't see one under the hood. I've done some searching and found reference to the hose being under the valve cover assembly? I've been finding my car doesn't accelerate like it should (slower than a neon 1-60kmph) the fuel economy has gotten slowly but steadily worse (not god awful but not as good as it was either). There are no visible oil leaks now but between oil changes a few litres of oil are definitely consumed somewhere. Anyway, has anybody had this problem in the SS/SC, is the PCV hose under the valve cover and does anybody have any other tips for me to take a look at? Car has 126 000kms on it.

Oh wow my stupid. I figured out the whole PCV hose thing. No valve just that hose. If anybody has any other tips relating to my symptoms though I'd appreciate it!

Sounds like ur burning oil. It could be 'slow' for a lot of reasons including hot weather. What are ur actual mpgs?

Theres a purge solenoid u may wanna look into maybe its bad. Definately do a compression test as stated above.
