Stage 2 help!!!
So I went to get a stage 2 tune from the dealer today bacause my tune from Vince is too rich but since I got my parts from ott they didn't come with an 8 digit code that the regular stage 2 parts come with so the dealer couldn't program the canned tune into my car. They told me to let them know if I found a way or an 8 digit code. Can anyone help with this?

I already called and he said I'd have to pay for it so no, I'll get someone else. He should be willing to fix his mistakes at his cost.
bump for a solution. they told me that a code from another one should work fine. they'd assume i bought it used or something.

I have an 05 balt and bought the stage2 kit. I'll rummage through the garage and see if I can find the paper work. Not sure if you have an 05 or later model...

shouldn't matter as long as it's the 8 digit code that comes with the kit. and just some friendly advice for anyone buying or selling used stage 2 kits: keep the code so you can get the tune.

I think the tune is registered to the car ,and sorry but I think any one giving up the code will not be able to get a reflash from the dealer if the number is registered to another car just like he cant do it for you !!!!
I would check this out before giving up the number.
Otherwise the dealer could look up someone elses car on the computer and then use there 8 digit number but that would put the onus on them. Its different if some one shows up with a number.

Even someone with Hp tuner cant dump a stock tune into it for free because they need to purchase a credit for each car from what I understand.
Maybe someone can let you know what the cost is and see if its cheaper to back to the guy that did the tune.
But I really think the guy should put you back for free if your not happy with his tune with out a refund.
Once the car has been hooked up to his lap top there is no other cost to him but his time.
