Hey guys,
Ive had my balt for about 6 months and im very happy with it, but ive been hearing a noise from my steering column, its like a clunking noise when i turn the wheel it makes it sound like my front wheels are loose when they arent. it makes me feel like im on a boat with the water hitting against it(noise)

any ideas? thankyou

 

possibly steering shaft. mine was making a clunk over bumps and when i was sitting still. i replaced mine and now i have no more clunk

 

If its not an axle its your steering shaft. Spray some lithium grease inside the yoke of the intermediate shaft...its a very common problem on the cavalier and malibu

 

bmp i replaced my shaft with the 2 ujoints in it and i still got a clunk

 

control arm bushings?

damn thats unlucky. get the ottp spherical control arm bushings

 

i get a noise when doing u-turns... as soon as i give it little gas.. it makes a clicking noise... like im going up a roller coaster (chain)
