Steering feels loose? SSS/c

Yo everyone

My steering feels oddly loose. I get that clunk in the driver side when going on some bumps at a turn and when im on the freeway it feels sorta like every bump pulls the wheels in a different direction and its driving me nuts. Chevy had it a while ago for the bump and replaced the intermediate shaft and it did nothing. But this seems to be getting worse especially after I went for a "spirited" drive on the mountain roads last week. Its like every bump i tuch on the freeway steers my steering and it feels like ****!

PLEASE HELP !!!

thank you

no replies?

That can be an alignment thing or maybe a bad shock .
Check the shocks out by bouncing the car on each corner to see that the shocks stop the bouncing right away.

shocks ok the bounce right up and hold I just had an alignment done and it got rid of it a LITTLE but the car still pulls to the left randomly sometimes as if it was off alignment but...its not. and it only happens randomly

could sway bar links do this? i mean they feel solid but the bushing in it has like spaces where the plastic is seperated that i can see just looking through the wheel (if that made since) but like i said it seems solid

I just had the links replaced because they were wore out,and I didnt have any problems like that.
I think if you dont have enough toe in or what ever they call it that makes the wheels go back to center
Can make the car wonder and not track straight.

i had the intermitant steering shaft replaced twice and its doing the same thing again. They said it was broken. It sounds like a clunk on the drivers side when i go over bumps but im not having any alignment issues or tire issues. and when i turn to the left it sounds like a chattering noise if i get on it. Im going in soon to get it looked at again.

let me know what they find

coblasts thanks for your input, rather then looking to much into the sway bar links i think im going to go have it aligned...at a good place so they can check the toe in/out.... the last place i brought it to SUCCCKKKEEED (brake masters) (dont go to them period! lol)

thanks guys and any updates or info please bump

I have a 2004 redline with similiar problems. I have changed the front struts and rear shocks. I have also replaced the sway bar bushing. I had it realigned at saturn and they put the camber closer to 0 on both sides. That seemed to help alot but did not fix the problem. I have over 123,000 miles on my car and know how it should perform. This issue is driving me crazy. Any updates or other suggestions would be nice. I am about to change the endlinks next.
