Steering wheel not aligned properly?
there is a bolt by the steering wheel shaft to adjust the wheel..have a tire shop do it..some one has to hold the wheel straight so they can loosen the bolt and then tighten it back so the wheel stays straight
Under the dash on the top of the intermediate shaft. 13mm head. Have blue loctite handy for when you put it back together after you clean the surface of the bolt and have your steering wheel lined up.
you need a proper alignment and wheel balance. the problem were having is the car is aligned but steering wheel not straight. you have a completely different problem that should be taken care of asap or your tires are going to go to ****.
I'm not sure. I do have to hold the wheel slight right for the car to go straight on the interstate. Maybe they did not have the steering wheel straight when they installed the steering motor? I never noticed the problem before that recall work was done. Could it be possible that they forgot to torque the lug nuts to spec? I did notice that the tires are not wearing evenly.

lug nuts wouldnt do that really. a wheel weight could have been knocked off but i doubt it.
it sounds like your car just fell out of alignment. see if maybe they would do a free one.
lol i love when that happens

Um.. If the wheel is crooked and you're still going straight, and it doesn't pull.. That would be a toe problem. Aka, alignment. Mine was like that also, as I bought the car used. I work at a dealer. Had one of the techs look at it. Threw it on the alignment rack. Boom. Fixed.
Normally it would be an alignment issue but everyone here has had a proper alignment and or had the steering recall done so they know the alignment is good. It is quite simply that the tech who replaced the unit did not mark the placement on the intermediate shaft and the splined shaft of the steering column (I mark the rack shaft and lower intermediate shaft as well) with a paint marker prior to uninstalling and transfer those locations to the new unit. It happens all the time with inexperienced techs. The bad thing is that if you don't know cars the loaded spring that is in the steering column can break very easily if it is too far off from center and then its getting replaced a second time. Generally, most people shouldn't mess with this if they don't understand what could happen if they do this improperly.
I noticed a few weeks ago that my car pulls to the left slightly when I have the steering wheel straight. But my alignment in fine.
Also, when at a stop light, I center the steering wheel and hit the brake my steering wheels turns too. My brakes are fine and I DO have a LSD.

Hey guys, I just checked it again today, it doesn't turn. And it wasn't turning while braking, I was at a dead stop, had my foot OFF the brake, then applied the brake and my wheel turned a little bit. Maybe rivets in the road? But the car is fine.
yeah when my wheel is slightly left, i mean BARELY left, it tracks straight. The alignment is fine though because it was checked by myself and slightly adjusted by myself, I think this is just a fit issue. I've heard arguments it is because of the road crown but its just the wheel needing a slight adjustment. I dont think anyone else seems to give a **** enough at the factory or repair shop to check that **** though. Might be a time consumption thing. Its not a major issue, just slightly annoying once in awhile. Drive predominantly with my left hand so it doesnt bother me as much.
