Alright, i have about 29,000 miles on my car, stock clutch. If I go wot just through one gear, when i'm about to shift into another gear, the clutch pedal gets STIFF as hell. This has happened also when I haven't been wot and just driving normally, but it mostly happens after i get on it. Any ideas as to what it is? Does the clutch need to be bled out?

 

I've heard that when a clutch startes stiffening up like that, it's a sign of wear. No clue how true that one is, though.

 

It also happened when I was taking an exit off the highway, i went to downshift, but i couldnt push the clutch in more then halfway...it just stopped...i left off it and it pushed it down again and went down smooth

 

Sounds like the slave cylinder is acting up.

 

Mines doing this exact same thing now . At the drag strip last night , at the end of a pass I had to about stand on my clutch pedal . Though its mostly normal acting at light cruise speed . Im picking up a new clutch/slave next week .

 

Mines also at the dealer now to look into that. usually its cause the clutch is wearing out or got really hot. Hopefully i can get a replacement. I have about 29K on mine.
