Stock Rim Issue... Help..!!

Ok ill try to make this as brief as i can, My rims were peeling on my SS, took it to the dealership to have them looked at, District manager came down and Agreed to replace 3rims, (the fourth one was damaged slightly due to a curb fight) howeever still peeling in spots well away from the curb damage.. Anyhow took the 3 new rims (different colour, NOT gun metal). the dealer offered me a "fourth" new rim at their cost of 600.00 damn dollars. I decide to take my "old" rim to a shop to have it re-coated and fixed, Dude at the shop told me that it could not guarantee a colour match due to the type of coating used and to go back to GM and Scream, SO i went to the dealer they told me their hands are tied to call customer service. Waiting for a call back (might take a couple) So my question WHAT THE HELL DO I DO..? I dont wana spend 600 dollars on a rim that should have been replaced for free, Regardless of the damage to it. I even bought the extended warrenty but hey that dont cover rims.. I'm SOO pissed off, this car is gonna drive me to a mental hospital with all the issues its had..!! This is a KNOWN issue with GM cars, they should just suck it up damnit!

Any ideas or agruments i can make would help greatly,

Keith

BUMP.... for no real reason lol

I think they lied to ya about the cost of that wheel. They told you their cost for the wheel was 600 but that's close to list. If you have the 18" painted wheel, it actually costs $454.60

They might not sell it to ya at dealer price but if they say they are, then you might be able to hold them to it.

Here's an actual pic of GMDealerworld's website stating the current stock status and pricing just in case they dont believe ya

Our GM rep is just as bad. We had several claims that he rejected cuz he just wanted to. One simple one was a guy bought a new Tahoe and the center cap was a little loose. By the time the service dept decided to go ahead and tell us to order one, it fell off while driving down the road. Since there was no old cap to keep for warranty, he rejected the claim.
