hey has anyone ever experienced there sun roof squeaking when going over bumps or turning etc... only when its closed, i can kinda push it up and down when being gentle where it would lift up at. its not a loud squeak, just small squeaks that are irritating. no water leaking or even a sign of it. im out of warranty also. so i want to avoid the dealer. thank you

 

Lot of them squeak like that.

Open the sunroof, clean the rubber seal really well and apply weatherstrip conditioner or dielectric grease (work it in well and wipe it off well), then clean and wax the metal where the seal contacts the opening.

Might shut it up, might help a bit, might not do anything at all Worked very well for me for about 6 months, starting to squeak a bit again so time to redo.

 

x2 I did this and have made sure to keep dirt out from in between and my squake has gone away for the time being. I have a suspicion when it gets cold again it'll come back but for now problem solved.
