Sunroof wont open
i drove with my sunroof cracked to work today.. (like flipped open lol) well when i parked and tried to close it made a popping noise so i tried opening it again and it would pop again and not move... my friend said it might be off the track.. any other opinions??

Either off the track or something's funky with the wiring. Check the sunroof switch, I've heard those have had problems.

Mine's been snap, crackle, and popping for the past year yet somehow still works.

The sunroofs, like most other aesthetic pieces on our cars, SUCK.

yea mine has been making noises ever since my wreck...



cant really tell but the impact pushed the sunroof up

that was like 2 years ago haha... ive had no problems from the wreck except the sunroof now...but some idiot pulled out of a neighborhood and when he saw me i guess he froze and i t-boned him

Ah **** that sucks. Kind of sounds like the Jeep that stopped in the middle of a 4 way intersection to check her text message on an icy road. My car looked a lot like that minus the SS-ness.

ya my car was less then a 1000$ from being totalled but i destroyed his car lol

Back into something to equalize the original impact?

Nah but seriously my best guess would be to try getting it open and take it apart, if not the roof liner would probably contain all the stuff you need to access so if you could take that out you should be able to go at it from underneath.

Where'd you take your car for repairs?

I think if my car ever ends up like yours, it would have been at a dealer. And then I'd bitch til it got totaled. Lol
