surfaced my rotors
Today I did my brakes, the shop that resurfaced my rotors had to do them 3 times cuz they were warped and in pretty bad shape lol. He also said that they won't be able to be resurfaced again, and next time I'll have to get new ones.

this is the first brake job since I've had the car and I put 30k miles on it since Oct. 05
and I like being cheap rofl jk, I'm trying to save up for the hahn turbo kit.

ok, for one. i am very surprised they resurfaced the rotors after being warped. its not common practice for a mechanic to do that. rotors are very, very cheap these days. oem replacements.....well here in canada... are about 40 bucks. and take only about3 minutes to replace with mechanical background. i would suggest in the future to grab new rotors if you feel pulsations while braking.
also if they are warped usually means they were overheated at some point. heavy on the brakes and not letting them cool down will cause this. also depending on the type of wheels you have, depends on the cooling affectiveness of the rotos. some wheels are designed to direct air into the braking system to cool off. keep that in mind.
slotted rotos could help this problem. but do your research. many slotted rotor companies have crap rotos and warp very quickly. the thicker, the better. but you also want to make sure that the cooling fins on the rotor are affective.
just a something to keep in mind

Honestly so far the best way I've found to avoid warping............go with a different pad compound. OEM pads and OEM rotors for whatever reason are NOT a good combination on this car. I replaced my rotors at 36k and changed from OEM pads to Hawk HPS. I have almost 20k on that combo, not a single pulsation and NO grooves on the face of the rotor, the surface still feels smooth and even as silk.

most cheap rotors from Autozone, Advance Auto etc. aren't heat treated before they're shipped
this means that your rotors will warp faster
OEM rotors are junk PERIOD....they rust and warp like a ****
