Well so far the car has been great. I am at 55k miles on a 2007 cobalt ss/sc, no issues so far other than this code today.

I was just driving in regular traffic when the CEL came on. Got it scanned and it came up P0172.

Anyone ever had this code before or happen to know a remedy or cause? I know it comes up as system too rich? What would cause this tho.

Only mods I have are the GMPP Exhaust and a AEM intake.

its the intake thats messing it up. go check out a local tuner.

 

Nice, Code didnt come back after 50 miles of driving today, I think I am going to take a look at the intake this weekend.

 

Damn code is intermittent. Comes and goes regularly throughout the week.
