I have a 2005 cobalt ss sc 128,000 miles. Sometimes when I get on the highway and do a pull the throttle will cut out repeatedly. I took a video of it today (click the link below). I was either in 3rd or 4th gear but it only does this at highway speeds. I had the gas pedal to the floor the entire time during the video.

Sounds like it’s running out of fuel.
Clogged filter, failing fuel pump possibly.

Check fuel pressure?
