tire tread

Okay so I just bought an 07 with 295 on the clock. The front tires (stock) tread are already very worn to the point of replacement. It's almost as if they swapped out the tires with a year old Cobalt before shipping it here (bought it from Atlanta through Manheim Auto Auction GM sale).

So the question to you all:
Do you think going to a dealer locally and making a "complaint" will do anything?

Or am I screwed?

Thanks!

If you bought it at an austion, then you really can't say anything, because when cars go to the auction the usually sell as is.

Nah, they're certified for sure. It's not some hole in the wall auction company it's a National corporation. There's no problem there, my beef is probably with GM

You also don't know if those tires have been worn down by burnouts and hard driving. All you know, that car was used in the drivers events that GM had throughout the states.
