Well going down the highway today my car beeps and says low tire pressure, so i pull off and check it, said the front left tire, i look at it and it doesnt look low at all, so i get my gauge out and check it, and guess what it said 32psi.....so i checked the other 3 and same pressure(give or take). so i get back in and turn the car back on...it says all tires are at about 32psi. then later on it says its low again, so i pull off agian and check, still 32....and i get back in and it reset to the right psi again...any idea wtf its doing?

 

did you check the spare aswell ?

 

why...its not connected to the tpm

if the spare has a tpms sensor it is connected to it. its just a thought

 

it doesnt but the tire it says was low was the driver side

 

it could still throw a light. happened a lot when i worked at toyota. as i said it was a thought

no. just the tire it says is low should be refilled with air...cant really when its already good

 

He's right.Alot of cars monitor the spare tire.

I hate these cars with the tpm's.When i worked at bmw,id get atleast 3 or 4 cars a day with there tire light on.

 

I think the cold temps effect the sensors...my wife's SUV keeps saying low air (its not) but only since its been really cold out.

go into a GOOD tire store and have them check the battery on that sensor it could be bad already i work at a tire store and that kind of thing could happen and the apre doesn't have a sensor so dont even worry about that
