Tranny died on the highway
I had a similar problem. Apparently some of the SS supercharged Cobalts came from the factory with thin fly wheels, so they burn up real quick. I have to have it replaced as well as my clutch. I guess the fly wheel burns out and the clucth wont dis-egnage. The mechanic told me its common in the Supercharged editions. My car only had 1000 miles on it, kinda wondered why if it was a known issue it was replaced while it was on the lot.
Update
Well i talked to the dealership today, they said the car is all done except they need to put in some type of fluid (didn't say what kind) for it to be drivable; heres the good part, they can't get a hold of this fluid until Monday. So i'll have my baby back some time Monday
