Tranny problem maybe?

OK, Ive had my turbo kit on for over a year, as well as my stage 2 spec clutch and fidenza flywheel and never once had a problem. Lately, ive noticed on cold starts engaging first i hear a sound. It sort of sounds like 2 pieces of metal sliding against each other as if they were dry? does not happen on 1-2-3-4-5-r shifts just N-1 or moving the car the first time. After a few mins if i come to a stop and start again the sound is gone. Would anyone know what this could be? I have not experience any shifting problems and it still drives/shifts the same as before.

Replace the fluid first...only other thing I could think of is a worn synchro? But if it goes away after you've been driving, it certainly sounds like a dirty / low fluid issue.

Well i replaced my fluid, the noise is still there. Its only on cold starts when i first get rolling. After that its gone and is fine on warm starts and going. Again is sounds like 2 metal plates against eachother.

Brake rotors/pads. If it goes away once warmed up I wouldn't be too worried.
